Anvita Dixit is a Yoga Educator, Dancer, Public Speaker and Founder of Yogic Gurukul. Having lived and grown up at the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Centre, she was trained in the classical form of Yoga from a very young age and had access to spiritual Indian philosophy extremely early on. These mental and spiritual aspects of the Yoga tradition had a deep impact on Anvita and she made it her mission to share this wealth of knowledge, especially amongst the youth. In order to do so, she has been creating content on Yogic studies for the last several years and has also worked with Cure.fit on digital Yoga content - teaching several classes across the app, and featuring in both live and On-Demand content.
Anvay Dixit is a Yoga Instructor as well as co-founder of the Yogic Gurukul and has been instrumental in setting up the production and content elements for the organisation. He was born and brought up at the Kaivalyadhama Yoga Centre in Mumbai and developed a keen interest in the spiritual elements of Yoga at a young age. He is extremely passionate about education and believes that it is an essential element in the maximisation of human potential. Having completed his Certificate Course in Yoga Education and pursuing his Bachelor of Management Studies Degree at H.R. College - Anvay strives for excellence in entrepreneurship while still being a student and learner.
Ashlesha Mahadik is a Yoga instructor, video editor, and avid Yoga enthusiast who loves all things spirituality and philosophy. She has also served as the core committee member at the SYNC Yoga Club in H.R. College and has been at the forefront of planning, execution, and event management.
A finance student by qualification, Ashlesha enjoys delving into the creative world through video editing, writing, and creating content. She aspires to be a Yoga teacher and educator, and is on her way to fulfilling her calling through her work at the Yogic Gurukul as a video editor and teacher!
Maitreyi Bhatia has been drawing since she could lift a crayon and when she's not drawing, she's meditating or binge-watching philosophy videos. She has always had a drive to learn new things since she learnt Adobe Photoshop at the age of 10. She also runs an art business called "Monki Business" that prints her artwork onto products, which has been feautured on Midday, iDiva, Buzzfeed India, Homegrown & Asian Age.
The mystical side of her has an undying love for the world that is beyond the senses and since healing people is her passion, she is also a tarot reader who believes things should never be done out of a place of fear, and instead - only love.
