Cancellations & refunds policy

Anvita Dixit Yoga (Brand Name: Yogic Gurukul) having its registered office at “Nishigandha, Gulmohar Park, ITI Road, Aundh, Pune, Maharashtra, India - 411007” - would like to thank you and appreciate your purchase with us. Please read the policy, conditions and process carefully as they will give you important information and guidelines about your rights and obligations as our customer, concerning any purchase you make through us. The policy concerning the processing of the refund, shall be following the clauses as set forth:

 

  1. RETURN REQUESTS

Our Platform provides services to the customers and e-products to the consumers in the form of online services such as classes, workshops and notes/ learning resources. There are no physical products sold on the Platform and hence the Platform does not allow returns to be requested on any grounds and does not allow exchange requests to be made under any circumstances whatsoever. 


 

2. REFUND POLICY

The Platform does not provide refunds for any of its purchases. No refund shall be initiated after the payment has been made - thus consumers are requested to book classes only after ensuring they are going to available for it and are fit to attend. 

In case, the Platform cancels the workshop or the class, ONLY then the refunds shall be made to the bank accounts of the customers as used at the time of booking the services on the Platform. The Platform uses the third-party payment gateway i.e., Razorpay and / or Stripe for all payments and transactions.

Any queries shall be made by the customer by emailing “info@yogicgurukul.com”, which will be the official mode of communication with the Platform and the Firm. The Firm shall waive all other means of communication made. 

The money shall be refunded between 1-2 business days after the cancellation of the workshop or class. All Refunds shall be made only at the discretion of the Platform & the Firm.

 

3. CANCELLATION POLICY

The Firm at its sole discretion may cancel any booking(s) made by the customer: 

  1. if it suspects a customer has undertaken a fraudulent transaction, or 

  2. if it suspects a customer has undertaken a transaction that is not following the Terms of Use, or 

  3. in case of unavailability of a service, or 

  4. for any reason outside the control of the Firm including causes for delivery-related logistical difficulties.

  5. if the Firm does not want to do business with the customer.

In case of cancellations after the class package has been purchased, the following terms would be applicable to the enrolled student:

 

1. Any classes once purchased cannot be refunded - and therefore need to be booked after careful consideration of time and availability. Class timings will be mutually decided at the beginning of each class package and will be the same until the end of the package - or in case of an emergency medical situation at our end.

 

2. If any class is cancelled due to a teacher’s medical unavailability or urgent Yogic Gurukul work - the class cancellation will be intimated via email - and the class will be carried forward to the next earliest available date. To accommodate for the missed class (a). Teachers will aim to re-schedule the class within the same week to avoid any gaps in learning time, and/or (b). will accommodate a 2-hour session at the next class that is held. 

 

3. If any class is cancelled due to a student’s availability - we will mark the class as paid and completed, and the class will not be carried forward. This clause is being added to ensure that there are no class cancellations, since teachers block the class time slot - and will have to complete the charge for it, if the class is cancelled at the student’s end. 

 

However, in the event of a genuine medical emergency, that has been intimated via email (on info@yogicgurukul.com) - either by the student or their family member / friend / representative - with a supporting letter from the medical doctor / physician in charge; in such a case - we will allow the class payment to be carried forward since it is a genuine emergency case and needs to be carried forward on medical grounds.

On the other hand, in the event of holidays, or work / travel overlaps - we would be unable to carry forward the class payment, and would request students to plan their schedule around the classes - so as to ensure classes are completed on time, and we stay on track with our study schedule. In case, the class is missed due to holiday/work/travel reasons - we will have to count the class as paid for, and bill it on our system as a completed class. 

 

4. Additionally, any video recordings of the class or material provided at the time of teaching would need to be protected by the student it has been sent to, and we trust that it would not be used for sale, or training purposes without our consent or knowledge. In case, any help or suggestions are needed on teaching materials - we would be more than happy to provide guidance and help you create your own unique teaching and training materials that are in true alignment with with who you are as a teacher / educator.

Further, while all measures are taken to ensure accuracy of service specifications and pricing, the details of the services as reflected on the Platform may be inaccurate due to technical issues, typographical errors, or incorrect service information provided to the Firm by a Vendor and in such an event the Firm or the Platform holds no liability regarding the same. We maintain a negative list of all fraudulent transactions and non-complying customers and reserve the right to deny access to such customers at any time or cancel any bookings placed by them in the future.
